No message about AIDS for the elderly

The Muthande Society for the Aged is worried. The latest South African national HIV prevalence rates have just been released by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) and they show that men over the age of 50 are an HIV/AIDS priority risk group.
In an effort to address this issue the society, a community-based organization for the elderly operating in most of the townships in Durban, has organised a VCT campaign targeting older men. The campaign will take place on 26 September at the Tafelkop Service Centre near Umbumbulu.
