| Bring and braai: Smoke signals were seen around town yesterday (Heritage Day) as Durban’s citizens responded to Braai4Heritage’s call to actively celebrate their common heritage and light a fire. Braai4Heritage is a non-profit, apolitical initiative that aims to create social cohesion by encouraging all South Africans – carnivore, vegetarian, vegan or otherwise – to actively celebrate our national heritage annually on 24 September, simply by having a braai. Pictured here at the launch is Tiaan van der Spuy.
